Awami League has finalised a list of candidates for contesting the 25 Pourasava elections where voting will take place on December 28 next under the first phase.

The selection of the candidates was finalised at the local government representative board meeting of the ruling Awami League on Saturday.  

The meeting of the nomination board was held at Ganabhaban, the official residence of Prime Minister.
Prime Mininister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.  

A press notification signed by Awami League office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua revealed this information.
