DHAKA: After a long drama-tension, opposition BNP-led 18-party alliance started their rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital at 2:15pm Friday.

Besides, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia took her seat at the stage of the rally at 4:00pm. She is set to deliver speech there.

Thousands of leaders and activists of the alliance thronged the venue from the morning ignoring drizzling.

They were seen carrying banners, festoons and chanting ant-government slogans.

The alliance was staging the rally to press their demand from caretaker government.
