Abahani Limited Dhaka have won their sixth match in the ABG Bangladesh Premier League Football against Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 2-1 goals at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on Friday.

In the day's match, Brazilian midfielder Jonathan Fernandes and Saint Vincent forward Cornelius Stewart scored one goal each for Abahani Limited while midfielder Mohammad Abdullah netted a lone goal for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club.

Mohammad Abdullah gave Sheikh Jamal a deserving lead early in the 8th minute while Jonathan Fernandes restored the parity for Abahani Limited in the 28th minute of the match.

Cornelius sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Abahani Limited in the 45+1st minute of the match.

After the breather, Sheikh Jamal however tried their best to stage a fight back in the match but they could not score any in the remaining proceeding and eventually they had to leave the field with empty hand.
