Defending champions Bashundhara Kings extended their lead as they beat Fortis Football Club by a solitary goal in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League football held at Rajshahi District Stadium on Saturday (April 20).
 
In the day's match, Brazilian midfielder Miguel Figueira scored the all-important goal for Kings in the 23rd minute of the match. 
 
Fortis however tried their best to stage a fight back in the match but could not score any in the remaining proceeding. 
 
The day's win saw table topper Bashundhara Kings raise their tally to 31 points from 12 matches while Fortis Football Club remained at their previous collection of 13 points playing the same number of matches.
 
Earlier, in the first leg, Bashundhara Kings defeated Fortis FC by 3-1 goals held at Bashundhara Kings arena in Dhaka.
