DHAKA: National University announced that they have started processing admission for honors 2015-16 session without taking any test.

Online admission process will begin on October 1.

A press release signed by the university’s public relations, information and counseling department acting director Mohammad Fayzul Karim informed the media on Sunday.

According to the release, NU initiates the measure to reduce session-jam as well as to improve the quality of education.

The university will be free from session-jam by the mid of 2018, the release added.

In this regard, new admission process for 2015-16 session has been announced.

One of the NU public relations officials told banglanews that the university will admit students for honors without admission test for the first time of its history.

Students will be selected on the basis of their results in SSC and HSC examinations.

He futher said that class for the honor first year will begin on December 1 aiming to reduce session-jam.
