DHAKA: Seven more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the last 24 hours in Bangladesh, raising the total death toll in the country to 206, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Friday (May 8). 

Besides, 709 more people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 13,134. 

Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS came up with the information in an online regular health bulletin about the latest corona situation in the country.

As 191  more patients recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recovery reached 2,101, Dr Nasima Sultana added.
