The government has reduced the fee for testing Covid-19 at hospital by 50 percent. 

The decision was made after a meeting of the health ministry in Secretariat on Wednesday morning.

After the meeting, Health Minister Zahid Malik in a press briefing said patients will have to pay Tk 100 instead of Tk 200 per test at hospital.

Moreover, Tk 300 per test will be taken from patients if samples are given from home, which was previously Tk 500.
