Bangladesh today confirmed 19 more deaths from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 6,127. 

According to the Health authorities, 1,733 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 425,353.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

As 1,715 patients have recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recoveries reached 343,131, it also said.

A total of 2,484,688 samples have been tested so far as 14,524 samples tested in 115 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country in last 24 hours, the release added.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
