DHAKA: The BNP leaders who were detained by Metropolitan detective branch of police will be produced before court on Saturday afternoon.
DB sources said that the detainees would be shown arrested in various cases.
But it is not confirmed whether any remand plea would be filed for interrogation.
Deputy Commissioner (Media) of metropolitan police Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier on Friday night, DB police arrested BNP standing committee members Barrister Moudud Ahmed, MK Anwar, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia, BNP chairperson’s advisor Abdul Awoal Pintu and personal assistant Shimul Biswas.
