BARGUNA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League president, on Tuesday said the government would form a board to recognize the Qawmi madrasa education system.
The premier came up with the assertion while addressing a rally on Sarwar Jahan Pilot School ground in the district on Tuesday afternoon.
She said, “Awami League believes in religious freedom and harmony and BNP burnt Qurans and it is totally betrayal with Muslim community.”
Hasina also said her party would build a central mosque in every district and upazila if she is voted to power in the upcoming elections.
The Awami League president called upon all to be united against the ‘terrorists’ BNP-Jamaat and sought vote for her party assuming power in the upcoming national elections.
Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Noor-e-Alam Liton Chowdhury, Shawkat Hasanur Rahman Rimon and Awami League Bamna upazila unit President Advocate Harunor Rashid also spoke.
