DHAKA: Primary School Certificate (PSC) and equivalent examinations 2013 for class v have begun from Wednesday morning (November 20).
The PSC examinations will end on November 28 as per schedule.
Minister for Primary and Mass Education Minister Afsarul Ameen made the announcement at the secretariat on Monday.
The minister said a total of 19,50,193 class V students of general and madrasa students are likely to sit for the 2.30 hour long examinations started at 11.00am in 574 centers throughout the country.
As per the examination schedule, the results will be published on December 26 and the successful candidates will get their transcript on December 31.
The examination schedule (PSC):
Nov 20: Math, Nov 21: Bangla, Nov 24: English, Nov 25: Bangladesh and Bishwa Parichoy, Nov 27: Elementary Science and Nov 28: Religion.
Equivalent examination schedule:
Nov 20: Math, Nov 21: Bangla, Nov 24: English, Nov 25: Poribesh Porichiti Samaj/Bigwan, Nov 27: Arabic and Nov 28: Quran and Tajdid, Akaid and Fikah.
