CHITTAGONG: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel held three persons with huge explosives from Chaumuhani area of the port city early Wednesday.

The identity of the detainees could not be known immediately.

RAB’s Chittagong Zone Deputy Commander Squadron Leader Nazmul Haque told banglanews that a total of 21 sacks of sulfur, were found in the area.

The arrestees have failed to show any papers of permission for keeping such types of explosive materials, which used in making bombs and cocktails, the RAB official added.
