Siblings drown in M’singh

MYMENSINGH: Two siblings drowned at Panchruthi village under Nandail upazila of the district on Wednesday noon.

The deceased were identified as Panna, 5 and Kadir, 2, offspring of Ratan Mia, hailed from Panchruthi village of the upazila.

Sources said Kadir fell in a roadside pond and his elder sister Panna also drowned while trying to save her younger brother.

Officer-in-Charge of Nandail Thana Khandaker Zahidul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
