DHAKA: A Bangladeshi man was beaten to death by inhabitants of an Indian village on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Shafiqul Islam, 28, son of Babor Ali, hailed from Sholmari village under Sadar Upazila of the district.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-32 Kathali company Commander Subedar Fazlur Rahman confirming the matter to banglanews.

He said that Border Security Force (BSF)-85 Company’s Tempu Camp Commander AC Rabindra Singh in a letter informed that residents of Kagaji village under Muruthia Thana of Nadia district killed the victim.
