DHAKA: A proposal on finding out the way to overcome the ongoing political crisis of Bangladesh is going to be placed at European Parliament, the world’s largest one, on Thursday night.
In the proposal, there are calls for formation of a neutral interim government that has the confidence of all political parties and the international community to oversee the next parliamentary election of the country.
Following the matter the debate will be held at Strasburg of France in between 08:00pm to 09:00pm on Thursday.
Group of the Alliance of Liberation and Democracy for Europe (ALDE) placed the proposal.
BDR mutiny and its mass trial, trial of crime against humanity, overall human right condition and upcoming election issues would be discussed in the hearing at European Union parliament.
The Greece-European free alliance (Verts-ALE) group placed a proposal to express concern as Bangladesh failed to reach a unanimous decision to form interim government to oversee the next general elections.
