CHITTAGONG: A man was killed and 19 others were injured in a road accident Chatri Choumohoni area under Anwara Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Patia highway police assistant sub-inspector Md. Fakhrul told banglanews, “A bus plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering in the area at around 10am, leaving 20 injured.

Of the injured, 13 were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where one succumbed to his injuries.

CMCH Nayek Hamid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
