Bandarban road crash kills businessman

BANDARBAN: A businessman was killed and three others injured in a road accident in Baslan Para area in Ruma Upazila of the district on Saturday noon.

The deceased was identified as Mustak Ahmed, 35.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Ruma Thana Zakir Hossain told banglanews that a wood-laden rashly driven truck plunged into a roadside ditch, as its driver lost control over the steering at Baslan Para area of the upazila at around 2:30pm Saturday.

The injured were admitted to Upazila Health Complex, he added.
