PM leaves Madinah for home

MADINAH: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Madinah for home on Saturday afternoon after a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Umrah.

A special flight of Bangladesh Biman Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and members of her entourage took off the Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport around 4:00pm.

After performing her Esha prayers at the Masjid-e-Nababi on Friday night, Hasina visited the Rowza Mobarak of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SM) and also offered fateha prayers there.

She also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah as well as the nation.

The flight is expected to reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 12:50am.
