DHAKA: A CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver was burnt as blockade supporters set fire to the vehicle in Hatirpool area of the city around 1:15pm Tuesday.

The injured was identified as Sofed Ali.

After the incident, passersby recovered him and rushed to the Burn Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Residential surgeon of the Burn Unit Partha Sankar Paul told banglanews that the victim is now out of danger.

No one was detained in this connection.
