DHAKA: Home Minister advocate Sahara Khatun visited the policemen wounded during Sunday’s hartal at city’s Rajarbag police hospital on Tuesday noon.

The police personnel received wounds while performing their duties during the down-to-dusk hartal enforced by the main opposition BNP on June 27.

She went to the hospital at around 1:30pm and visited the injured.  

She asked the authorities concerned to provide them “the best treatment available”.

High officials of Home Ministry and the police accompanied the minister during the visit.
