18-party extends blockade by 23-hr

DHAKA: Opposition BNP-led 18-party alliance extended blockade by 23-hour up to 5:00am Friday.

BNP Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed made the disclosure while talking to journalists at party Headquarters at Nayapaltan in the city on Wednesday night.

As per previous announcement, the blockade was scheduled to be ended by 6:00am Thursday.
