COMILLA: Train communications on Dhaka-Chittagong-Sylhet routes resumed after 19-hour halt that created a lot of sufferings.

Subarna Express train left the Akhaura Station to Chittagong around 4:00pm on Monday.

Comilla railway station master and Akhaura station master confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier train communications on Dhaka-Chittagong-Sylhet routes were halted as six compartments of Godhuli Express derailed after fishplates were removed by blockaders in Rajapur area of the district at 7:40pm Sunday.

Superintendent of Akhaura Station Moatleb Ali told banglanews that the Dhaka-bound train derailed in the mid area of Rajapur and Shashidal railways stations in Burichang.
