JU: A section of teachers of Jahangirnagar University (JU) again confined vice-chancellor of the varsity professor Anwar Hossain.

The protesting teachers besieged him at his university residence around 10:00pm Monday when Anwar returned in the campus after taking treatment.

A pres release from public relation department of the varsity confirmed the matter Tuesday.

The agitators disconnected television connection of his residence and obstructed staff and employees to entry the hoarse.  

Earlier, teachers has been staging movement and confined JU VC demanding his resignation on charge of various irregularities.
