Sending observers depends on situation

DHAKA: Commonwealth will take decision on sending observers to monitor the upcoming 10th national polls after assessing ongoing political situation of the country.

Head of democracy of Commonwealth Martin Kasirye came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after meeting with Chief election commissioner Kazi Rakib Uddin Ahmed on Wednesday.

Martin Kasirye said that we will make a report after talking with political parties, peoples and observing the overall situation of tenth national parliament elections.
    
Earlier, a three-member delegation of commonwealth had meeting with the chief election commissioner at around 10:00am.

Meanwhile, political affairs officers of commonwealth Amna Jatoi and Clara Cole joined in the meeting.
