DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina assigned responsibilities to her four advisors on Wednesday.
The disclosure came from a gazette notification signed by cabinet secretary M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan.
Former Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Shafique Ahmed will continue as advisor in the same ministry.
Dilip Barua has been assigned to three ministries- Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industries, and Ministry of Social welfare.
Jatiya Party president Anwar Hossain Manju has been given responsibility of Ministry of Shipping and Inland Water Transport, and Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication.
JP presidium member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu has been made responsible for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare along with Ministry of Women and Child Affairs.
On November 11, ministers submitted resignation letters to PM with a view to reforming polls-time cabinet and new eight ministers and state ministers took oath on November 18.
Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu has been made responsible for Ministry of Health and Family was appointed as PM’s advisor on the same day.
On November 21, PM reformed the cabinet and appointed Barrister Shafique Ahmed and Dilip Barua as advisor. On November 24, Anwar Hossain Monju was appointed.
Five, out of seven advisors of PM resigned on November 26 except Gauhar Rizvi and Tarique Ahmed Siddique.
