DHAKA: A bus helper was killed as another bus knocked him down in city’s Gulshan area on Thursday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said that a city bus rammed him when he fell on the street from another bus while overtaking around 11:10 am, leaving him dead on the spot.

This accident occurred when the drivers of the two rashly-driven buses tried to overtake each other, they added.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Gulshan Thana Operation Officer Sheikh Sohel Rana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
