DHAKA: Barrister Abdur Razzak said they would review the death sentence of assistant secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Kader Molla to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court whenever they would get the full verdict.
He came up with the disclosure while talking to journalists at his Dhanmondi residence of the city in the afternoon Thursday afternoon.
The full verdict of Kader Molla, whom the appellate division of the Supreme Court awarded death penalty for his involvement in crimes against humanity during the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971, published on Thursday afternoon.
Barrister Abdur Razzak said, “The full verdict published and we will submit the review-appeal whenever we get a copy of the verdict.”
Earlier, attorney general MK Rahman said the journalists that as per the law, there is no chance of review appeal for Kader Molla.
