DHAKA: Oscar Fernandez-Taranco, Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs of the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, has arrived Dhaka to dissolve the present political turmoil of the country.
He arrived at Shahjalal International Airport at around 7:55pm on Friday by an Emirates flight.
Foreign ministry sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Sources said Taranco’ this visit would be the third times to solve the prevailing political crisis in Bangladesh.
Foreign Ministry sources said that Taranco would talk to the leaders’ from two main political parties and noted citizens of the country.
