Taranco meets Khaleda

DHAKA: Oscar Fernandez-Taranco, Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs of the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, met with opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence on Saturday evening.

Standing committee member of the party Dr Moyeen Khan, vice chairman Shamser Mobin Chowdhury, advisor to Chairperson Sabih Uddin Ahmed and Riaz Rahman accompanied Khaleda Zia.

A five-member delegation led by Taranco joined the meeting
