DHAKA: A “robber” was killed as angry mob beat him up in capital’s North Kafrul on Thursday noon.

The deceased was identified as Rubel, 32.

Sources said three robbers were taking preparations for robbery introducing police at Mamun’s house of Popular area of North Kafrul.

Sensing the matter, locals chased them and beat three robbers, leaving one robber injured critically.

On information, police recovered the robbers and sent one robber to Dhaka Medical College where on duty doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Kafrul Thana Gazi Wazed Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews.
