JAMALPUR: A woman was beaten to death by her husband at Kashthosinga village under Sadar upazila of the district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Chameli, wife of Minhaj Uddin, resident of the area.

Sources said Chameli was beaten dead by her husband over in the morning.

On information, police nabbed the alleged husband.

The body was sent to Jamalpur Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge of Jamalpur Sadar Thana Mojibur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
