Bangladesh observes state mourning today for Gaza victims

Bangladesh is observing a one-day state mourning today (October 21) commemorating the deaths of the Palestinian citizens in the Israel attacks.

On October 19, the government decided to observe state mourning for the Palestinians, killed by the barbaric attacks of Israeli occupation forces in different areas of Palestine, including Gaza.

On the occasion, the national flag is hoisted at half-mast in front of the offices of all government, semi-government and autonomous bodies, educational institutions and all government and private buildings across the country and Bangladesh missions abroad.

Meanwhile, special prayers were offered at all the mosques across the country after Jummah prayers yesterday and at other worship places, seeking eternal peace of the departed souls and quick recovery of the injured Palestinians.
