Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (October 21).

According to the BMD bulletin, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius jointly at Sitakunda and Cox's Bazar and minimum temperature today was 18.0 degrees Celsius at Dimla, it says.

However, no rainfall was traced anywhere across the country in the last 24 hours till 6am today.

The sun sets at 05. 28 pm today and rises at 05: 59 am tomorrow in the capital.
