Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has taken a primary decision to allow Awami League (AL) and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) to hold their rally on October 28 at their preferred location.

However, DMP has not yet given official permission in this regard.

A senior DMP official confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Thursday (October 26).

He said that it has been decided to allow the ruling AL and BNP to hold rallies at their preferred locations. 

The decision may be officially announced on Friday, the official added.
