Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Friday (October 27) has taken highest security measures ahead of BNP rally to avoid any unwanted conflict. 

Besides, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is also working to maintain law and order situation under control.

According to DMP officials, if needed Armed Police Battalion (APBN) and Ansar members will also be there in the field.

Along with the strengthening of checkposts on the roads of the capital, surveillance has been started at residential hotels and suspicious places. Apart from ensuring maximum security in Dhaka, the police are also conducting search operations in the surrounding districts from a vigilant position, said authority concerned.

Those concerned also said that the police is ready to provide security support for the political program. But they will be strict with utmost professionalism to avoid any chaos around the rally.
