Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (October 28).

According to the Met office bulletin, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

It also predicted that the dry weather might continue and the temperature may rise over the weekend.

Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 34.0 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda and today's minimum temperature 16.0 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

However, no rainfall was traced anywhere across the country in the last 24 hours till 6am today.

The sun sets at 05.23 pm today and rises at 06:03 am tomorrow in the capital.
