Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered a bomb-like object from the rail track in Ishwardi Rail Junction area early today (November 3).

Ishwardi Railway Security Force Chief Inspector Feroz Hossain confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Additional DIG Maruf Hossain is the captain of Pabna RAB-12 said that the object was wrapped with red scotch tape on the rail line near the junction.

"We have not confirmed yet whether it's a bomb or not. Investigation is on," he said.

The miscreants have done this to create fear among people and disrupt the economic progress of the country. The bomb was stored and tested and found to be a high-powered cocktail, he added.
