The meeting of Election Commission (EC) with President Mohammed Shahabuddin has been deferred to November 9.

The office of Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal confirmed the matter on Saturday.

Earlier, the meeting was scheduled for November 5.

All the four election commissioners, led by the CEC Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal, are expected to meet the president ahead of announcing the schedule for the 12th national polls.
