At least four passengers were killed and 40 others injured after a bus collided with a pick-up van in Mymensingh on early Tuesday (November 7).

The identities of the victims could not be known immediately. 

The accident took place around 12:30am when the bus driver lost control of the steering and hit the pick-up van in Shikarikanda area of Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.

Mymensingh Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shah Kamal Akand confirmed the matter.
