Two persons were killed in a car-motorcycle collision in Bagerhat's Rampal upazila on Friday (November 10).

The decease identified as motorcyclist Md Razzak, 33, and Md Harun-Or-Rashid, 35.

The incident happened when a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction collided with a car on the Khulna-Mongla highway in front of Ronsen fish depot.

Rampal police station Officer-in-Charge SM Ashraful confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

He said motorcyclist Razzak was killed on the spot while Harun was declared dead after being taken to Rampal Upazila Health Complex.

The police seized the car but its driver and two passengers ran away, he said.

Police are still trying to nab the driver, he added.
