The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has deployed its 428 patrol teams throughout the country amid the ongoing blockade called by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

RAB's legal and media wing senior assistant director ASP ANM Imran Khan confirmed the matter.

A total of 140 patrol teams of RAB are deployed in the capital, he said.

BNP has begun its nationwide blockade on roads, rails, and waterways today (November 29).

According to the party announcement, the blockade begins at 6:00 am and will continue until 6:00 am Thursday morning and, later, a 24-hour hartal will start right after the blockade ends.
