Election Commission Secretary Jahangir Alam today (November 30) said the nomination form submission deadline for the upcoming 12th national elections will not be extended.
The deadline for the submission of nomination papers ended at 4:00pm today.
He said EC will inform on December 1 that how many parties are taking part in the polls scheduled on January 7.
Law and order situation is under control, he said while talking to journalists this evening.
