MEHERPUR: A man was chopped to death over land dispute at Karamdi in Gangni here on early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Sader Ali, 40.

Motiar Rahman, officer-in-charge of Gangni thana said that on information, police recovered the body near Karamdi road early morning and sent it to mortuary of Meherpur Hospital.

The OC claimed that the killing was a sequel to a longstanding land dispute between Sabdel and Sader at Karamdi village.

In last year, muscles men of Sadek killed Sabdel due to same reason, he added.
