Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted light to moderate and moderately heavy to heavy rainfall or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind at places over all eight divisions of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am today (Aug 13).
According to the BMD latest bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Rangpur divisions and at many places over Sylhet, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 35.8 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while today's minimum temperature 25.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rangamati.
Rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded 83mm in Ishurdi.
