National Board of Revenue (NBR) member Dr Moinul Khan has been appointed as the Chairman of the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Wednesday regarding the appointment quota of the President.

Moinul Khan will return to his cadre before retiring, according to the notification.

Dr. Moinul Khan previously served as Director General of the VAT Audit, Intelligence and Investigation Department. 

He also served the revenue authorities in different capacities including Director General of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department, Commissioner of Dhaka West Customs Excise and VAT Commissionerate.
