Business adviser to the Interim Government Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed today (August 28) said this government has no agenda as they have taken responsibilities for a little time.

This government has no resentment towards anyone nor affection, said Salehuddin.

The adviser said this while speaking to reporters after a review meeting of the overall market and commodity price situation of the country at the commerce ministry conference room in the capital.

He said, “We will not compromise with any business syndicate because we have zero resentment and affection.”

Salehuddin said the government is working to overcome all obstacles and create an international standard business environment across the country.

“Opening letters of credit (LCs) has not decreased at all. Some banks have problems . . . Bangladesh Bank is working to solve them. The import of essentials is not disrupted due to the dollar crisis. There is no shortage of essential and other products, including fertilizer, pesticides, fuel or food. Bangladesh Bank is managing as best as it can,” he added.
