MANIKGANJ: The ferry service on Paturia-Daulatdia river route halted for two hours due to poor visibility caused by dense fog since Tuesday 6:30 am to 8:30 am.
Sources said that eight ferries got stranded in the mid of Padma river at around 6:30 am and three ferries were waiting at Daulatdia ghat.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat manager Mohiuddin Rasel told banglanews, the ferry service resumed after fog cleared.
