Oil tanker catches fire in Patenga 

A fire broke out on an oil tanker named "Banglar Jyoti" in the Dolphin Jetty area of Patenga in Chattogram.

The incident occurred around 11:00 am on Monday.

Fire service officials could not immediately determine the cause of the fire.

Kafil Uddin, the duty officer of the Chittagong Fire Service control room, said that upon receiving news of the fire, 8 units from 3 stations of the fire service reached the scene and are working to bring the fire under control.
