DHAKA: The first Namaz-e-Janaza of formar Member of the Parliament Khandakar Rashiduzzaman Dudu, also Kushtia Awami League president, will be held on Friday morning.

The Janaza is scheduled to be held around 11:00am at South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad.

Later, the body will be taken to Ishwardi airport by air ambulance and then taken to the Kushtia central Eidgah by road where the second Janaza will be held.

Family sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The eminent business leader-organizer breathed his last at 7:00am Wednesday after suffering from many age-related diseases.

He also was president of district Juba League for long and vice-president of Kushtia government college Chhatra Sangshad.

The former lawmaker was also an eminent businessman and leader of the business community.

He served in the Rupali Bank as chairman for five years and vice-president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI, the apex body of businessmen of the country.

He served Kushtia Chamber of Commerce as president for several terms.
