DHAKA: A youth and a minor were killed in two separate incidents in Sathiya and Chatmohar upazillas of the district on Saturday.

Of the deceased, one was identified as Khalilur Rahman (30), son of Awal Sheikh and resident of Bera upazila of the district.

Witnesses said a bus ran over Khalilur Rahman as he fell down from an auto-rickshaw on Faridpur-Baghabari highway of Sathiya upazila around 12:00 noon, leaving him injured critically.

He was rushed to Faridpur Upazilla Health Complex where on duty doctor declared him dead.  

On the other hand, an unknown minor was crashed under wheels of an intercity train while he was crossing the rail-line in Guakhara Rail Station area of Chatmohar upazilla.

Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohar Thana Asaduzzaman Munshi confirmed the matter to banglanews.
